Root 66 Northeast XC Mtn Bike Series

See More about this series -->

The 2010 Northeast Root 66 XC Race Series is a series of cross-country mountain bike races held at different venues throughout New England between April 10th and mid September.

This is our seventh season for the series and what is shaping up to be the most fun and competitive mountain bike race series in NE. The series contains well-established races like The Fat Tire Classic/Winding Trails, Coyote Hill, and Winsted Woods. Some new and exciting venues have been added such as the Millstone Grind in August along with The Norcross Scurry, as well as many others!

The series offers free events for children 5-11 years old, easy-to-enter races for racers 12 years and older, family entertainment, and affordable entry fees.

Why Root 66?

We've listened to you, the racer and your concerns. You wanted lower entry fees. You've got it! You wanted timely results and series scoring and you're going to get it! We heard in great detail how and where you would like to see the future of cross country racing evolve and we've delivered. That future is now at Root 66.

Our series is made up of races put on by racers, their clubs, and shops dedicated to quality mountain bike racing throughout New England. The Root 66 mission is to provide New England riders with the most competitive, yet fun for the whole family race series.
